Activator Adjuvants Activator adjuvants are products that directly affect the efficacy of the pesticide. These products improve activity of the pesticide by enhancing spreading, penetration, or pesticide movement inside the plant. Activator adjuvants require each use to be registered with PMRA much like a pesticide. Excel 70 is a nonionic surfactant that combines three functions into one powerful adjuvant. Excel 70 includes a nonionic surfactant to improve wetting and penetration, an acidifier to reduce tank mix pH, and a unique technology to reduce spray drift. Keysal 90 is a nonionic surfactant with neutral pH and a long list of approved tank mix uses. Vestra is a combination of solvents and surfactant designed to improve herbicide efficacy by increasing penetration into target weeds. Keysal MSO is methylated seed oil based adjuvant containing Lecithin that is ideal for improving herbicide efficacy.
